Monica Barahona – Supervisor

My name is Monica Barahona.  I have worked at California Children’s Academy for 6 years.  I started working as a teacher assistant at Placita De Ninos in January, in May of the same year I was promoted to the Teacher.  I transferred to Jardin De Niños and worked there for 2 years.  I worked in the infant room as the Teacher.  It was a big challenge, to work with infants, but I did it and I LOVED it! ​

I was promoted to Campus Supervisor at Milagros and then transferred to the Lucia Rivera Early Learning Center as a Campus Director.  Throughout these years, I have learned many things from the staff, parents, and children.  The things I have learned have helped me to grow as a better parent and better human being.  I started taking Child Development Classes at ELAC in 2000, I have earned my CA Child Development Supervisor Permit and since then I have learned so much and am so happy to be able to bring that knowledge and experience to the children at my current campus.
